 Ocean 3 Design Studio Minimize

Ocean 3 Design Studio and its President, Scott Lechtrecker, contacted Webcrafter Studio when they needed a web site.  We were able to quickly create a functional and expandable web site for them in a very short period of time.  Scott loves the look and so do we.  Check out the custom home designs of Ocean 3 Design Studio at http://www.ocean3design.com.

 Propeller Head Software Minimize

Propeller Head Software has an existing Windows based application, Property Sales Advantage, which is beginning to age and needs to be replaced.  After talking with their existing clients and interviewing prospects at trade shows, the owners of Propeller Head determined that a web based application would be of most benefit.  Webcrafter Studio was contracted to write a new, web based, version of the software.

This new version makes extensive use of AJAX technology to provide a desktop like user interface with the flexibility and easy distribution of a web application.  Once again, the DotNetNuke, framework was employed to provide the usual list of functions required for any web based application, such as; login/security, menus, multi-domain hosting, etc.

This application should be finished in the spring of '08, so keep a watch on http://www.prophead.com for more details.

 Stainless Valve Co. Minimize

Stainless Valve Co. designs and builds slide valves of various diameters and specifications.  Each valve is custom built to the customer's needs.  Pricing one of these valves is a difficult task, due to the large number of variables involved in each situation.  When building a valve you must choose the material from which to build it.  You must choose the pressure it can withstand, the temperature extremes it must accept, and it's thickness and diameter, as well as many other criteria.

Stainless Valve Co. had a problem.  Their business had grown to the point that it took the sales staff a great deal of time to create price quotes for all of the inquiries coming in.  What they needed was an automated pricing calculator.  An attempt at a pricing calculator had been made, in the form of an Excel spreadsheet, but this was only a partial solution.  It still required someone from Stainless Valve Co., who knew how to use the spreadsheet, to do the calculations.  What was needed was a web based calculator that would allow the customer to input their requirements directly and receive a quote without the intervention of an SVC employee.

Webcrafter Studio provided the analysis, design, and development to build a completely new web site with a built-in price quoting system.  The system is simple enough to be used by customers without instruction and flexible enough to allow SVC employees to edit material costs and keep prices up-to-date without involving a programmer.  The SVC valve quoting system was one of our more challenging projects, and we are very proud of what we built.
